Weddings and Funerals. The members of Sunfields Methodist Church believe that the Christian approach to the rites of passage has something special to offer so they encourage me to take time to help people at these times. This means I have time to sit and talk with people in times of bereavement, to share the joys of new addition to the family and what being responsible for young life might men. Similar I am given time to talk with people as to what a Christian commitment might mean in coming together in marriage.

Baptism is one of the sacraments of the church and is part of the rite by which people identify with God as understood in the Christian faith; for parents who are less sure about such things for their child then there is the possibility of a service of thanksgiving.
